Members|Officer List President: The president serves as the organization’s main
representative. She attends all events requiring representation on behalf of
Fusion (or delegates an appropriate person to do so). Not only will the
president direct general meetings, but she will also lead executive board
meetings. She is responsible for sharing updated contact information with the
Registered Student Organization (RSO) Office. Serving Fall 2011 to Spring
2012: Tom Sullivan Vice President – External: The Vice President – External manages
all relations between Fusion and its corporate and alumni contacts. She
schedules corporate presentations and oversees the external mentorship program.
In addition, the Vice President – External presides in the absence of the
president. Serving Spring 2012 to Fall 2012: Akash Shah Corporate Development Chair: The Corporate Development chair is
responsible for working with the Vice President – External to develop
relationships with corporate contacts. In addition, she will develop programming
for meetings that will enhance members’ professionalism. Serving Spring
2012: Matt Bates Faculty Relations Chair: The Faculty Relations Chair develops
relationships between Fusion and the College of Business faculty through events
like faculty panels. He also leads the current search for a faculty advisor.
Serving Spring 2012: AK Sommers Alumni Relations Chair: The Alumni Relations chair is
responsible for maintaining communication with Fusion's alumni contacts and
coordinating the external mentorship program. These overarching responsibilities
entail creating and distributing the Fusion newsletter, overseeing active member
to alumni interactions, and working to find additional alumni contacts for our
database. Serving Spring 2012: Vicki Tong Internal Affairs Relations: Internal Affairs Relations will
coordinate all communications between Fusion and specific areas of the College
of Business, including the deans and other professional organizations. Internal
Affairs Relations will work with the Vice President – External to find other
business organizations to co-sponsor corporate presentations. He or she will
also work with the Fundraising Chair to invite other business organizations to

Vice President – Internal: The Vice President – Internal manages all relations amongst the organization’s members. He oversees record-keeping for membership and attendance, and coordinates all correspondence. His overall aim is to foster connections between peers through the internal mentorship program and other activities. Serving Fall 2011 to Spring 2012: Ashley Christie
Internal Mentorship Chair: The Internal Mentorship Chair runs the
internal mentorship program, which pairs a younger Fusion member with a more
senior member to exchange important information and experiences about academics
and professional development. She will organize internal mentorship events that
help to foster these peer relationships. Secretary: The secretary is responsible for maintaining all attendance
records and correspondence. She ensures attendance is taken at each meeting and
contacts any members with unexcused absences. Serving Spring 2012: Kloie McCann Director of Public Relations: The Director of Public Relations
promotes all Fusion events through an on-campus marketing program. He is
responsible for coordinating the new member rush process each semester. He also
works with the Information Technology Chair to maintain accurate promotional
information on the Fusion website. Serving Fall 2011 to Spring 2012: Christina Garza Information Technology Chair: The Information Technology (IT) Chair
develops and maintains the Fusion website. He is dedicated to creating a clean
and professional appearance while posting current and accurate content.
Serving Spring 2012: Dan Kadlec Public Relations Committee: The Public Relations Committee joins with the Director of Public Relations to promote Fusion to new members during each semester’s rush process. Their duties may include creating advertising layouts, distributing flyers, chalking campus pathways, and many other marketing activities. Serving Spring 2012: Sailusha Gosala, Viraj Kamdar
Visual Designer: The Visual Designer will document all Fusion
activities and efforts photographically. The Visual Designer will also work with
the IT Chair to update and maintain the photo galleries on the webpage. Any
creative initiatives to enhance and support memories from Fusion are also
encouraged. Serving Spring 2012: Dan Kadlec Treasurer: The Treasurer is responsible for overseeing the flow of
the organization’s funds. She will ultimately achieve this purpose through
creating a master budget each semester. In addition, she collects dues and fines
and issues reimbursement forms for related expenditures. The Treasurer ensures
that the RSO’s Fusion account is accurately maintained. Serving Spring
2012 to Fall 2012: Fundraising Chair: The Fundraising Chair is responsible for boosting
available funds through different events that may involve alumni, faculty, and
students. The Fundraising Chair will work with the Public Relations committee to
